JDA is currently searching for a full-time Asset Management Analyst for the Multifamily Division in Spartanburg, South Carolina. A description of the position and requirements are listed below.  Qualified candidates should email their resume to HR@johnsondevelopment.net.

Position Summary: 

The Asset Management Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Multifamily team, responsible for overseeing the effective management of a portfolio of apartment communities located in various states. Additionally, the Asset Management Analyst will work closely with property management groups and third-party vendors to maximize property value and net operating income (NOI), while maintaining strong relationships and fostering continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities - Essential Functions:  

  • Collaborate with the Asset Management team to effectively manage the multifamily operating platform for JDA.  Cross functional cooperation with other JDA team members as it relates to multifamily work.
  • Maintain regular communication with management teams and develop strong partnerships with each
  • Analyze and report on the financial performance of each asset
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits to all assets within the portfolio, ensuring at least two visits annually 
  • Plan and execute capital improvement project to maintain and enhance value of the assets 
  • Participate in the annual budget review process
  • Develop general market knowledge for each target geography
  • Involvement in the pre-lease up and lease-up process for new projects
  • Work with the Development team to evaluate new projects

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject
  • 1-3 years of experience in the real estate field
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Represent Johnson Development Associates, Inc. in a positive and professional manner
  • A desire to learn and grow within the organization
