Position Summary:

 

The Community and Natural Resources Analyst will work closely with the Commercial Real Estate Manager and other team members to develop, execute, and manage the Spartanburg Office and Retail Portfolio and the Natural Resources Portfolio. The Analyst will engage on all aspects of investment-level business planning and execution. The Analyst will be the analytical lead on all asset management activities and partner with various teams within JDA to execute the acquisition, redevelopment, management, leasing, and disposition of the Portfolio.

Position Responsibilities – Essential Functions:

  • Provides analytical ownership for asset management functions, including property strategic planning, portfolio level budgeting and (re)forecasting, redevelopment and leasing decision analysis.
  • Conducts analysis and reporting related to natural resources asset management. 
  • Provides modeling and technical support for investments, redevelopment, and asset management activities.
  • Primary responsibility for the quality of analytics, research, and execution support for the following areas: development and redevelopment analysis along with lease analysis.
  • Performs tenant analysis and research.
  • Oversee the marketing for office and retail available spaces.
  • Assists in project management needs for new tenant buildouts.
  • Supports post-contract investment due diligence.
  • Assists with managing third-party business plan execution teams including leasing, due diligence and valuation.
  • Manages monthly lease reporting for office and retail spaces.
  • Assists with monthly/quarterly reforecast and valuation projection modeling.
  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate capital improvement projects, deferred maintenance, and new sources of revenue.
  • Maintains accountability and passion for meeting and outpacing deadlines.
  • Anticipates the needs of the team and proactively supports business plan execution.
  • Maintains flawless document organization related to leasing correspondence.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Preferred experience working in an engineering, construction or real estate-related field
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks effectively
  • Represent Johnson Development Associates, Inc. in a positive and professional manner
  • Maintain a high regard of confidentiality for company information
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
  • Work well under pressure
