Glenn Brown

Glenn Brown joined JDA in 2023, as Development Manager for the Self-Storage Division. Based in the Spartanburg, SC he is responsible for the development of projects throughout the United States.

Prior to joining JDA, Glenn was a Development Manager for OTO Development, also part of The Johnson Group. Glenn managed over $350 million in hotel development projects on the East and West Coasts for nine years. Over the last five years he oversaw five conversion properties which involved the purchase, extensive renovations, and conversions of different hotel brands. Three of the five projects have been awarded “Conversion of the Year” Awards by Hilton.

Prior to OTO Glenn owned a Real Estate Development and Consulting firm and held the position of Construction Manager at Extended Stay America, Inc. where he was part of a national team that developed over 400 hotels in eight years. Glenn was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC where he was also married to his childhood sweetheart Julie. They are the proud parents of two children and one grandchild
